Why We Built This Site
Georgia provides access to many government and court records, but Wilkes County does not publish a located online active-warrant roster. The issuing court creates the warrant, while the Wilkes County Sheriff's Office handles county law-enforcement inquiries and service. A missed municipal court date may remain with the city court that set the case. The Clerk of Superior Court files, stores, and retrieves Superior Court criminal records, but a case record does not by itself confirm current warrant status. These separate roles make routing important. The site collects official contact details, public-record request rules, and court-specific access paths so a reader can begin with the right office and verify the answer there.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Georgia court, sheriff's office, or state agency. Its role is limited:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They operate their own services and set any prices. A paid signup may produce a referral fee that supports free public access to this reference. Those providers control their results and data practices. Their output is not an official Wilkes County warrant confirmation, so any possible match must be checked with the issuing court or Sheriff's Office.
